Festive Entryway Christmas Area Rugs
The entryway is the first thing that guests see, so why not make it extra festive this year? Welcome your friends and family into the Christmas season right away with a simply decorated entryway. Entryway Christmas Decor
My entryway is a small space, so I like to be able to pack a punch with key pieces of Christmas decor. That’s why I thought it would be fun to round up some festive Christmas area rugs today!
My fall entryway was very simple, but the foundational buffalo check area rug made a statement.
I love that this buffalo check area rug could perfectly transition into the Christmas season if you like a more subdued statement too.
In order to transition to Christmas, I added in some of my favorite garlands, sleigh bells, festive pillows, and of course, lots of Christmas trees.
Christmas Tree Decor
My favorite accents for Christmas are always on the natural side of things. Layering trees and greenery is my first step to creating a cozy environment.

Garlands & Pillows
Then, I layer in more greenery with garlands. I love the look of real garlands, however I don’t appreciate the clean up. So I have found that if I add one garland a year that is a stunning faux option, then each year my decor appears more life-like and full.

Christmas Area Rugs
Now that we’ve talked about the decorative accents, let’s talk about the Christmas area rug! As you can see, I found this festive ornament rug to use as the foundation of my entryway.
