Home Decor Sign Round Up: Top Sources for Handmade Signs
Hello Friends! Who is ready to see how I add instant character to my home decor? If you haven’t figured it out yet, I have a few obsessions when it comes to my home decor. Take one look at my Instagram feed and you will quickly see that there are several repeating home decor components. 1. Pillows/blankets/basket combinations (because I can’t resist all things cozy!). 2. SIGNS!
Signs are everywhere in my home decor. It is slightly embarrassing actually. Ha! But I had the idea in my fall home tour post that I should round up all of my signs for you and give you some quality shops to consider if you happen to be looking to add some character in your home decor. Post may contain affiliate links where I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you on your purchases. Helps me keep this little blog a-runnin’.
Before we get too far, I must mention that the beautiful photography you’ll see throughout this post was captured by Kelly Braman from Kelly Braman Photography. I approached Kelly about doing a lifestyle family photo shoot in conjunction with home photography and she was an absolute joy to work with! So make sure to check out her gorgeous portfolio for yourself.
Handcrafted Signs = Added Character in Home Decor
What is it about signs? I love them. I know a lot of people share my love, however some don’t. And that’s ok because if you have something that you love then, by all means, bring that extension of yourself into your home. In my case, signs give me visual reminders all over my house. “Mountains have been known to move.” “Be still and know.” “Your Grace is enough.” All of these sayings are a good way to keep me grounded. That brings me to the signs I’ve chosen for my own home! Be prepared, there are a lot of them. Like I said….slightly embarrassing.
Each of these beauties were made by makers I’ve found through Instagram. They were all amazing to work with and some were even gifts from these beautiful women!
As you read through the post, click the small picture or link below each image to be taken to these shops.
Feather and Birch
My Acts 2:46 sign was one of the first signs I ever bought. I have 3 or 4 pieces from Heidi at Feather and Birch, but this one is by far my favorite. It adorns my dining room wall and is often a talking point among guests because it defines what I hope my home is to all who gather here.
Dandelion Wishes Home
Christine at Dandelion Wishes Home is a beautiful maker whose signs I have scattered throughout my house. This Give Thanks sign (a custom order from Christine who is always willing to meet her customer’s needs!) is my newest addition and I’m excited to display it while our family gathers for Thanksgiving this year.
Christine also made me this beautiful blessed sign. I’ve probably moved it four times since I got it because I love it everywhere! 😉 If you ever need an idea for how to cover up ugly black boxes that your husband just HAS to have to make the sound system work….put a large sign in front of it!
Grace Filled Farmhouse
Nicole at Grace Filled Farmhouse has made so many gorgeous signs for me! I believe I have at least six of her signs and I love the stain she uses because it gives them a bit of a weathered look. You can shop Nicole’s signs directly on her website. She often changes her inventory but if you show her a sign you loved in my home she does custom orders as well!
Your Grace Is Enough Mini Sign
Fresh Herbs & Be Still and Know Signs
Coffee and Jesus Sign
(You can also find the above Give Grace Always sign by the amazing Kristi at The Painted Nest!)
Avaberry Lane
Kathryn at Avaberry Lane gifted me this “Mountains Have Been Known to Move” hand-cut round this past summer. Her rounds are each completely unique and breathtaking. One of these days I plan to add more of her work to my collection because each time a see a new piece it makes my insides flip! My round is leather dipped with MOVE hand cut into the wood. It’s basically amazing. Make sure to follow her on Instagram because she only sells her wood rounds via restock!

How Many Signs is Too Many Signs?
I’m to that point ya’ll. How many signs is too many? As you can clearly see, I adore signs in my home decor. I don’t foresee that changing anytime soon! Anyone else have a compulsive sign addiction? Bueller? Anyone? Hope ya’ll have a great day and let me know if you have any amazing sign makers to share with me! (As if I need more signs……)
{There’s something to be said for stopping to enjoy a piece that is loved by its maker as much as it is by you.}
