Welcome to Grace In My Space!

Love it? Share it!

Hi All-

Welcome to my attempt at a blog! I’ve toyed with the idea of a blog for some time now. Years probably. I’ve never been a big blog follower until the last couple of years when I discovered a few gems that kept my attention. So this is my new outlet.

I don’t really have a plan. Yikes! As a reformed marketer, I know that isn’t the best way to go about this. But I love too many things to silo myself into one category just yet. I am a mom. I am a wife. I am a Christian. I am a self-proclaimed decorator. I love to help others. I love to take old things and repurpose them. I love to make ordinary things beautiful. (Or at least better!)  You won’t find me blogging about recipes because I cook for the sake of eating, not the enjoyment of cooking. Most of my posts will probably end up being about home decor, so be warned. And sometimes I get side tracked and ramble. I’ll try to keep the bunny trails to a minimum.

A little bit about me: I am sarcastic by nature. {I’m working on it.} I’m fairly stubborn. And kind of sassy. MUCH too sappy. But I think I’m sort of funny and my random dry sense of humor at least makes my husband laugh. SO…I’ve got that going for me. (Are you sensing the sarcasm?)

I’m NOT perfect. And the intent of this blog is not to present my perfect little life. Although, I am also a perfectionist so it is entirely possibly that I will overanalyze every post and picture. I’ll probably read and re-read everything I write before posting it. But it still won’t be perfect. And, I think that is the point I am trying to prove to myself. I will never be perfect. No one can be. That is why we need GRACE. So smattered throughout my posts I hope I show you pretty decor and fun DIY projects. I hope you see real life with children and all the joyous parenting struggles we all endure. But through each random post I hope I can convey GRACE.
