I’d love to welcome you to the home of Amanda who blogs at Midcounty Journal! Amanda’s home is basically a big old hug; arms wide open, welcoming you into her space to get cozy and stay awhile. I always admire designers who design a space so that you feel invited in without them saying a word.

Amanda loves layers. Sound familiar? I’m always suggesting that you add layers and this is the reason why!

There are so many interesting details that draw your eye around the room. Plus, the cozy factor is increased with each lovely layer.

Amanda has some wonderful suggestions on her blog for how to find vintage items to incorporate into your home. I just love seeing how she mingles the old with the new so seamlessly.

This vintage sink she scored brings so much character to her kitchen. If this doesn’t say, “vintage farmhouse” then I don’t know what does!

Beyond her obvious talent for finding amazing vintage items, I love how she styles her spaces. She makes it appear effortless but feasible for anyone to accomplish.
