My daughter’s bedroom is one of my favorite spaces in our home. I designed it with her in mind. She loves animals, hence the peel ‘n stick owl wallpaper, and she loves color!
Personally, you know I’m a neutral loving kind of gal. So instead of going all out color-crazy in her bedroom I decided to keep a neutral base on the walls and use color in the furniture, rug and bedding. This is an easy way to customize your girls room decor to match the personality of your little girl!
Girls Room Decor
When I remodeled my daughter’s room {see the before here} I wanted to keep it classic with key pieces that could grow with her. Specifically, I chose a classic bed frame, modern nightstand, and neutral bedding.
Keeping these key pieces fairly classic allows me to switch up the accents to accommodate her ever-changing interests and preferences! I can add pops of color, change out the rug pattern, and update wall decor without having to re-purchase matching themed bedding or paint the walls!
This season, I added a sweet pop of deep coral pink to her bedding with this comforter set. I love how it brightens up the room and draws the pinks out of the DIY hoop wreaths I made for her years ago.
