Moist Turkey Burgers

For me, easy dinner recipes are right up there on the same level of importance as healthy dinner recipes! This moist turkey burger has been a staple in my home for years.

It takes 15 minutes tops, is extremely flavorful and the entire family loves it! Kids included. I use this turkey burger as a main course to serve to guests often and they are always surprised how moist and flavorful it is!

Ingredients

Turkey burger ingredients
Ground Turkey Burger
  • 1 lb. Jennie-O Lean Ground Turkey
  • 1/4 c. Breadcrumbs (I’ve used both Italian Style and Panko and prefer Italian style for extra flavor)
  • 1 TBSP Lemon Juice
  • 2 TBSP Soy Sauce
  • 2 TBSP Minced Green Onion
  • 2 Cloves Minced Fresh Garlic
  • 1 Egg White
  • Fresh Herbs (Parsley, Oregano, Basil all work great)
  • 1 Tsp. All Purpose Seasoning (I prefer Miracle Blend)
  • Oil for frying

Process

Turkey burger ingredients
  • Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Mix thoroughly with clean hands and form into four equal patties.
  • Place patties in heated oil.
  • Fry 5-6 minutes on each side or until outside is browned and middle is cooked fully.

That’s it! Literally! The key to keeping these turkey burgers moist is not to overcook them. Continue flipping the patties back and forth until the middle is cooked through to avoid over browning.

I love to serve this with simple sides to keep this a legitimate 15 minute meal. Baked potatoes, green beans, corn on the cob, or baked sweet potatoes are all great side combination options.

  • 1-2 Tbsp. Olive or Canola Oil for frying

Notes

Flip burger back and forth until middle is fully cooked to avoid over browning.
