Decorating a Little Girl’s Room with Zipper Bedding
Designing a little girl’s bedroom is so much fun! I love finding pieces that do double duty as decor and serves practical purposes. I try to keep the walls neutral and add pops of color with decor accents like my favorite zipper bedding! See a few of the different styles Addie loves!

Little Girl’s Bedroom Decor
When we first moved in, Addie’s room was one of the first rooms I remodeled. The walls have stayed the same since, but I’ve made subtle changes to the decor.
As you can see, Addie takes great pride in styling her own space with all her special friends.
One of the ways I’ve found it is easiest to change the look of a space is by swapping out her bedding. I found Beddy’s Beds about 5 years ago and have used them ever since in my kids’ rooms. I love this zipper bedding and thought I’d share a few of my favorite styles!
Zipper Bedding | Practical and Pretty
We started by designing Addie’s room in a very neutral color palette.
There was lots of white, but we added personality with this cute polka dot bed skirt and blanket.
Addie loves that she’s able to climb into bed and zip herself in. The sides of the comforter zip up on both sides, creating a sleeping bag feeling without the look!
Both my kids love the security they feel from being zipped in. And I love that they can easily make their bed!
Add A Pop of Color
When Addie got a little older, she decided she wanted more color. You can see some ways we added color to her room with a closet mural in this post!
Another way to appease her color-craving-heart was to swap out her zipper bedding with this beautiful blue comforter set!
It fits seamlessly with the rest of her room decor because we’ve kept the walls neutral. I love how it pulls the colors from her rug and the sign above her bed as well!
