Want to know a secret?

When I designed my kitchen I wasn’t much of a cook. And I definitely wasn’t a baker. I’ve pretty much lived my adult life focusing on healthy foods I can whip up in 30 minutes or less. Then this year I learned how to make sourdough bread. And now everything takes hours or even days to prep and plan out. But I decided it’s very much worth it. 🤗 So now that I’m enjoying cooking and baking more it’s making me rethink how I use my kitchen storage. If I had to design it again, I think I’d do some things differently. Makes me wonder what tweaks I could make now that don’t involve any actual changes to the space. 🤔 I’m thinking of ways to use the shelf space better for everyday pantry staples. *Let the planning and plotting begin.*

This hack works for any kind of wall treatment, you just need to match your new moulding and wall treatment profiles. A great solution for Shiplap, board and batten and wainscoting. Comment TRIM for links to be sent to your DMs with my exact trim and Shiplap combo.

I’m using 11/16”x 1 1/8” primed PVC base cap to bridge the gap between my trim and the Shiplap. This Shiplap is my favorite too because it comes primed and has a built in nickel gap making spacing perfect every time.
